Dedicated to improving the lives
of individuals with autism through intervention, education,
professional training, and research aimed at effective treatments,
prevention, and cure.
UW Autism Center provides diagnostic evaluations and multi-disciplinary intervention services for children with autism spectrum disorders from infancy through adolescence, and a wide range of professional training opportunities. Our mission is to provide state-of-the-art clinical services, increase capacity for services through training, and increase knowledge and awareness about autism in the professional community and general public. The clinical and professional training components of the UW Autism Center are part of the Center on Human Development and Disability at the UW, and are now also offered in our Satellite clinic location at the University of Washington in Tacoma.
