The Department of Medical History and Ethics at the University of Washington provides academic education and professional training in medical humanities through an undergraduate Minor in Medical History and Ethics, a MA in Bioethics (coming Fall 2009), a theme in Professional Responsibility and Medical Ethics integrated into the School of Medicine curriculum, and a variety of sponsored continuing education activities for practicing health care professionals.

Wylie Burke featured in "Local Legends" exhibit

Dr. Wylie Burke is featured in an exhibit that celebrates women physicians who have made exceptional contributions to the medical profession in their home state. The exhibit is on display in the UW Health Sciences Library through Nov. 21. To read the UWeek article click here.
