The Field Research and Consultation Group serves the occupational safety and health needs of the State of Washington. Our services are provided without charge to businesses and labor groups to promote the safety and health of workers in Washington state.
The Field Group is part of the University of Washington's Department of Environmental and Occupational Health Sciences in the School of Public Health and Community Medicine.
The Field Group provides information, on-site evaluation of health and safety issues in the workplace, and consultation on strategies to reduce occupational hazards. We also provide learning experiences and research opportunities to UW Department of Environmental and Occupational Health Sciences students. The Field Group has no regulatory authority
