he Dermatology Division at the University of Washington Medical Center UW Dermatology Roosevelt provides an inpatient consultative service and an outpatient dermatology clinic. The UWMC-Roosevelt Dermatology Center provides a full range of dermatology services from general care to specialized skin cancer surgery, laser surgery, phototherapy, and interpretation of skin biopsies.

Clinic Appointments and Staff

eneral Dermatology clinics are available daily. Patients are seen in the Dermatology Center at Roosevelt either by a UW Medicine physician referral or by referral from a community dermatologist. The Dermatology Center is located at 4225 Roosevelt Way NE, 4th floor, Seattle, WA 98105-6920.

Hospital Consultations

he hospital consultative team consisting of a dermatology resident, attending physician, and a medical student is available for consultation on the Inpatient Service. We take pride in prompt responses to your requests for consultation and encourage you to use this service. Requests for consultations should be directed to the Dermatology Resident through the paging operator or through the Dermatology office. A Dermatology Resident and an Attending are "on-call" evenings and weekends for urgent consultations. A full-time Dermatopathologist is available for consultations or skin biopsies.

Dermatologic Surgery

ermatologic Surgery at UWMC-Roosevelt focuses on diagnosis and treatment of skin cancer, treatment of cutaneous lesions amenable to laser therapy, and general dermatological surgery procedures. The specialized surgical techniques performed include Mohs micrographic surgery, pulsed dye laser treatments, CO₂ laser, and other cosmetic procedures.
