Da Laina Cameron

DaLaina is an accomplished professional in finance and operations, with a proven track record of leadership and adaptability across diverse sectors. Most recently, she served as the EDGE Coordinating Center Manager at the UW School of Medicine, where she skillfully oversaw all financial, operational, and personnel functions of the project. Her expertise in budget management and compliance ensured the success of the multi-site projects, including navigating regulatory oversight and resolving fiscal award compliance issues. Prior to this role, her experiences in clinical research and human resources honed her collaborative skills and attention to detail, further enriching her contributions to her current role. DaLaina hopes that her unique experience at the intersection of research and finance will enable her to bridge the gap between university operations and scientific work as the Business and Fiscal Lead for the Department of Bioethics and Humanities.
